Hi -

Wow, February already!!!

I received an email from a friend, Robbi Zeck, from Aromatic Kinesiology this week. (For any of you who have worked with me and experienced the wonderous nature of aromatherapy oils, Robbi is the creator and one who has gifted her wisdom to us through the oils).

In her email she came up with an idea that resonated well with me.

She explained that at the beginning of the year we are often overwhelmed with the reflection on and setting of goals for desirable achievements for the year ahead....

She has chosen to pick a word that can be lived by throughout the year..."just as a compass is always pointing north, think of your word as a way of keeping you on track."

The word I have chosen is 'truth'. My desire this year is to not only seek truth, also to experience truth and express truth. This word flashed into my mind as soon as I asked the question. I believe it will serve me well - as I will it in the coming 12 months... in the many layers and aspects of my life.

What is your word for 2012?

Robbi went on to suggest that it may be useful to ponder how the word makes you feel, how does it flow through the various aspects of you and your life, and does it move you into alignment with your nourishing values?

If you can, spend a few moments pondering this and finding a word you can be mindful for this year, then...
