Hi - Pam's Shower Snippets - Is your PILOT LIGHT on?

At the risk of repeating myself .....Yet another Spectacular Day Today!

Let's hope it holds over the long weekend... so each one of us can fill up with some of this radiance!!!

So my sharing today is not so much a message I received in the shower as an experience from this week.

This week I went out for a surf with some friends (Yes, I am back from having had a pretty awesome time away last week clocking up many hours in the green room out the back!). The conditions were perfect and yet I couldn't seem to get myself onto anything this day. Gratefully I managed to get one wave in. I felt sooo frustrated!!!! It was one of those moments of absolute rage... perhaps you know the ones - I could have burst into tears it was so strong.

What did I do...mmm, well, I had a full afternoon of clients so knew I needed to get myself together and pronto!

I took a few deep breaths and made an agreement with myself to utilize this opportunity later. After finishing work I pondered using this frustration to take my surfing to the next level. And I also realised with my health challenges of late - I hadn't even had enough energy to feel Angry in a long time... so perhaps this was a really good thing!!!

The next day I heard the phrase:

"Frustration is the doorway to a Breakthrough"

Though my news is not earth shattering or life changing... this morning I went down to Manly to find no friends to surf with. I paddled on on my own with a little 'size' about... and set myself the challenge to get one wave. No pressure, I just wanted to go do it. And I did!

In the process, I now know my Pilot Light is ON and there is a Fire in my belly burning brightly once more. It feels so good.

If you can, next time you feel really Frustrated choose to grab a hold of that energy and focus it on your next Breakthrough.
