You Only Live Once!

...I was reading an email earlier this week by Reid from Hay House..YOLO is what he learned from his 13 year old son on a recent family holiday in Idaho. It became a theme for him as they undertook various adventures there.

I was pondering this message as I was changing into my wetsuit this morning... having less than 2 hours earlier arrived home after walking Marley on the verge of bursting into tears from the pain in my cold hands...!!

No news to anyone in Sydney - it was bitterly cold this morning, and not much warmer (6 degrees) when I arrived at the surfshed about 9.30. By pure astonishment the gale force winds had yet to arrive and Manly looked pretty smooth and fun... and.. it was totally uncrowded - go figure!

So, what is a surf frother to do but go on out for some Fun!??!

We had a Ridiculously Wonderful Surf!!! 

We laughed and hooted more than I can remember in a long time!

How often are the unexpected joyous moments in life even more blissful than we could imagine?

To me, this is the message of YOLO, You Only Live Once.

The next time you are wavering on jumping in to do something that you want to do - Go Ahead, you may just surprise yourself too!
