Never Going to Rust Out!!!

This has been a conscious mantra for a long long time..

It occurred to me in the midst of this winter that perhaps I'd Rather Not Burn Out either!!!

Funny how life manages to show us what can do with a little radical improving on.

After a week in Seattle sleeping in (waking to frost on the ground this morning after 9am), hanging with family, snuggling bubbas, a few reds over meals, sharing moments reminiscing on the old and savouring the new, watching Gridiron, exploring each other a little deeper ....realising my only agenda here is to Be with them...

I'm not convinced I would have enjoyed the pace of this week or all of the moments in-between activities and words before being being placed so firmly on my backside.

I am feeling warm, joy-filled, content, wondrously happy.

'Think I'll spend the next week I have with them leaning in to this.
