Getting a BARREL

What a life metaphor surfing is for me....

Who ever thought I'd get the opportunity to be involved in this fabulous sport anyway???

Let alone find myself several weeks ago ...in the pristine uncrowded place up north at Treachery Beach with wonderful friends ... getting into a wave, slowing myself down... lining myself up letting the wave catch up to me, throw over my head... ride along inside it and make my way out of it again!!!!!

This is the very essence dreams are made of!!!

At 55, getting myself into and out of my first Barrel....Sweet!

Surely, with this happening, I can only believe it is never too late to go for or have dreams come true!???

For the last several years I keep telling people I feel like I'm just getting warmed up in life.

And why not?!

So it makes me ponder...what other far-fetched idea do You or I have wafting around inside of us?

Let's stay with it... you just never know - Maybe ....Our dreams come true...
